About the Setebaid® Logo

Setebaid Services'® logo represents multiple facets of the organization. The triangle represents both the mission of the organization and the treatment of diabetes.

• Setebaid Services® mission is three-fold:
  1. The organization develops programs that teach people with diabetes management techniques to maintain better diabetes control.
  2. The programs offer opportunities for students and health care providers to gain valuable, real-life experience in treating people with diabetes.
  3. The programs disseminate information on current diabetes research.
• In addition, the triangle represents treating diabetes by maintaining a balance between:
  1. Medication
  2. Carbohydrate consumption
  3. Activity levels

The triangle further depicts a cheerful person who has reached the center, or achieved control.

The "swirls" depict activity as one of the treatments. One of the swirls is directly connected to the person's hand, showing the activity. In addition, the swirls depict Setebaid Services® as we "turn diabetes around!"

The person in the center is blissful because he/she has adopted the Setebaid Services® belief that knowledge is power. The knowledge of how to care for diabetes gives you the freedom to live a normal and happy life. All of our programs teach "living happy and well with diabetes".
