Camp Setebaid® Youth Camp

Camp Setebaid, located in the breathtaking Pocono mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, offers beautiful forestland threaded with hiking trails and wildlife, a lake, a crystal clear Olympic sized swimming pool, and open playing fields. The site is just west of Wilkes-Barre and east of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

Camp Setebaid, serving only children with Type 1 Juvenile diabetes, received its name in the early 1980s by the campers. When asked to rename it from Diabetes Camp at Camp Louise, the campers decided on "diabetes backwards." The name has been Camp Setebaid ever since. Camp Setebaid Youth Camp serves children ages 8-13 and offers a myriad of activities including archery, arts and crafts, boating, canoeing, sports, and swimming.

Dates: July 28-August 2, 2008
