Camp Setebaid® Youth Camp:
Location

Both the Camp Setebaid Teen and Youth Camps are held, where they were founded, at Camp Louise in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania.

The forests, mountains, and state game lands which surround the extensive campsite covering over 360 acres, 140 which the camp uses actively. At the center of Camp Louise is a man-made lake, complete with island and wetlands. The woods are populated with many of Pennsylvania’s native wildlife including deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits. On a quiet early morning or just before dusk you can frequently witness this wildlife in person. The elevation of the camp, along with the shade and mountains help keep the camp temperatures very comfortable (and frequently cool), usually 10-15 degrees cooler than Berwick, only 10 minutes away!

The camp consists of a central playing field, immaculate dining hall and medical center (both awarded for architectural design), swimming pool, and trading post. Scattered throughout the forest are four units each consisting of at least 10 platform tents, a campfire area, lavatory facilities, and a permanent structure for weather emergencies.
